Amrut Patki, PMP

I read and understand the requirement of Board Members in our esteemed organization. With great interest and enthusiasm, I’m submitting my nomination for this role. I am looking for a growing team where I can contribute my skills and drive. Perhaps PMINEO could benefit from the enthusiasm and skills that helped me to lead volunteer work for Toastmaster, HOA, Diversity Council and Product Development for some of the world known companies.

I am motivated to be part of the governance board to add value and take PMINEO to next level. Given an opportunity, I would like to address/support following causes for organizational improvements for the members:
1. Growth in membership and member’s participation in events
2. Value addition by creating more diverse programs and events
3. Collaboration with other PMI chapters and creating more opportunities for our members

The highlights of my qualifications include:
• A Program Manager with over 22 years of experience in commercial vehicle industry combined with a "Global Leadership" certification, M.B.A., D.M.E., Six-Sigma, Red-X and a professional certification in Project Management, Product Management, and Design.
• Excellent leadership and track of Program Management. Handled programs ranging up-to $50M in CAPEX/EX
• Creative problem solver who applies strategic expertise to achieve performance objectives. Global Engineering Leader, who delivered programs successfully by effective leadership to Global Teams in USA, Brazil, India and China.
• Proactive leader with effective team building skills. Dynamic selfstarter with a strong sense of responsibility and a positive, goaloriented attitude. Able to manage multiple complex assignments and issues simultaneously.

Mona C. Lombardi, PMP

My current role is PMO Manager for Jones Day, one of the largest and most highly regarded law firms in the world. I am responsible for PPM oversight and cybersecurity compliance. My project management team leads complex enterprise programs, security, infrastructure, SaaS, office/data center build outs, and a variety of other improvement and implementation projects to meet the Firm’s strategic objectives, enhance business capabilities, and resolve problems. Compliance responsibilities within my team include vendor risk management, client assessment response, ISO 27001, GDPR/other jurisdictional compliance, and related privacy initiatives. I have been in the project management space at Jones Day for 14 years and a member of PMI & PMINEO for 12 years.

Prior to my employment with Jones Day, I worked in project management roles at both Marsh & McLennan and Deloitte & Touche in NYC.

Motivation, Chapter challenges, future vision, focus:
I am currently the lead for the Chapter’s Executive Forums. I enjoy volunteering for the Chapter, meeting professionals with similar goals and challenges, and learning new approaches to solve project management problems. Pre-COVID our team had great focus and synergy. It has been difficult to get traction while we try to figure out the virtual world of PMINEO. I think it is important for the Chapter to revitalize its offerings and have a plan for our return to a face to face setting. As a member of the Governance Board, I would like to work with the team to define objectives and implement new program offerings that align with the ever changing project management landscape.

 

Prasanna Adavi, PMP

Prasanna Adavi is a well-known speaker, author, and community expert in the areas of Project and Portfolio Management.

Over the last 15 years, he worked with several Fortune 500 organizations in helping them meet their business needs in the areas of Project Management and Portfolio Management; he specializes in bringing a balanced blend of process and tools for his customers.

He has been awarded the Most Valuable Professional award every year since 2014 by Microsoft for his contributions to the community. He is an avid contributor to the Project Management Community with several blogs, speaking sessions under his belt.

He also serves has been serving as the Governance Board Member at PMI Northeast Ohio Chapter, since 2019. Within this tenure, he was instrumental in creating several new initiatives that helped members, including the Tech Thursday Webinars, COVID 19 Fundraiser events, and the Virtual Bytes article series. Given an opportunity, his goal is to introduce several other new programs that add value to the chapter members over the coming years. His eventual goal is to make the PMINEO chapter the best-in-class among all PMI Chapters across the globe.

 

Steve Peterson, PMP

Steve Peterson is a Senior Scrum Master for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and has been a Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager for the last 6 years. He has held other project manager positions prior to transitioning to a Scrum Master role and has been in the project management field for the last 10 years. Steve became PMP certified in May 2017 and is currently studying to earn his PMI-ACP certification.

Steve would be a good candidate for the PMINEO Board because of the background and skills he brings to the chapter. For one, he has been a PMINEO events volunteer for the last 2.5 years. During that time, Steve has helped coordinate and set up several chapter events and is also responsible for keeping the chapter website calendar up to date. Steve has also given 3 presentations to the chapter, specifically on agile topics, which helped attendees earn PDU's. These events have included:

• Introduction to Disciplined Agile - June 16, 2020
• Tips to Maximize Product Quality Using Agile - May 21, 2020
• Agile for A Business Competitive Advantage - October 17, 2019

Another reason Steve would be a good candidate for the Board is he is the Disciplined Agile Champion for PMINEO and is motivated to expand agile topics and events to the chapter. Agile is a growing area PMI needs to be engaged with and Steve has the ability to really help drive it with others in the chapter. He is also excited to volunteer his time to help others in the project management field.

Steve holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University. He is also a Marine Corps Veteran.
