The PMI Northeast Ohio Chapter Project Management Excellence Awards acknowledges individuals that have made significant contributions to, and demonstrated continual commitment toward, the project management profession. Congratulations to this year's winners!


Project of the Year
Awarded to Project Managers that delivered the most significant improvements for their stakeholders and organization during 2023.

Christopher D. Cesta, PMP, Senior Project Manager, University Hospitals Health System, for the submitted project “JP Morgan Banking Program”. Christopher is an accomplished Project Management professional with proven expertise in scheduling and procedure, process initiatives, reporting metrics, compliance requirements, risk management, and budget management. Experience creating a centralized Human Resources department and developing a Project Management Organization (PMO). Realigning policies/procedures to improve overall personnel and corporate performance. Strong ability to manage accounts, maintain busy schedules, and increase productivity through process improvement. As PM for this project, Chris provided a steady hand that kept the project team focused on meeting 36 milestones and key deliverables. Adding to the challenge, the Banking timeline was a core dependency of the Epic E.H.R. Go-Live. Chris displayed his leadership capabilities in managing both internal and complex external dependencies on other strategic initiatives that were critical the Enterprise.


Kerzner Award for Project Excellence
Awarded to the Project Manager that not only delivered a significant project but also contributed to their profession during their career.

Lindsey M. Bishop, PMP, Sr. Manager Operations of the Nations Lending Corporation. Lindsey is not just a PM. She cares. She genuinely cares about every person she encounters and values all contributions big and small. She makes the human element come back into the workplace and truly knows about everyone in a professional environment but also their home environment. Her empathy, generosity, and gratitude are unlike any other leader I’ve worked with in my career. She is a seasoned mortgage industry veteran with 20 year history of consistently achieving company goals by cohesively implementing projects and leading daily operations.


Young Professional of the Year
Awarded to a Project Manager between 25 and 35 year of age who has contributed to the success of projects and/or their team in 2023.

Abigail Radcliffe, MS, MBA, Project Manager IV at Cleveland Clinic. Abigail is a valued Project Manager IV on the Talent Acquisition team at Cleveland Clinic. She has contributed to the profession and our organization with highlighted accomplishments including project management for the opening of Mentor Hospital and Middleburg Family Health center, ensuring the necessary recruitment efforts occurred to meet staffing deadlines for opening. She manages the rollout of the twice annual customer satisfaction survey, bringing data insights to the team to provide recruiter specific action planning, for continuous improvement. Abigail also works closely with vendors and technology teams, to bring enhancements to the modern candidate experience. In addition, Abigail consistently exhibits Cleveland Clinic values in her work: quality, innovation, teamwork, integrity, empathy and inclusion. She has already seen success in her career to date and will continue to thrive as a project management expert in the profession.
