New Feature: Get Project Management Job Opportunities Faster
PMI Northeast Ohio (PMINEO) is excited to introduce an important update designed to better connect our members with project management job opportunities—faster and more efficiently than ever before.
What’s Changing?
We’ve added a new profile preference option that gives you direct control over whether you receive job postings from the Chapter. This new checkbox allows members to opt in to receive notifications about relevant local and remote project management positions as soon as we learn about them.
Important: This option is currently unchecked for all members by default, so you will need to update your profile to begin receiving job alerts.
How to Opt In
Follow these quick steps:
- Log in to pmineo.org
(Note: This is the PMINEO Chapter website—not PMI.org.) - Navigate to the “My Information” section under your profile.
- Locate and check the box:
√ “I would like to receive news about job offers” - Save your updates.
Below is an example of where to find this checkbox in your profile settings:
What You Can Expect
- Members who opt in will receive job notifications as opportunities arise, with a limit of no more than one message per day.
- This replaces the previous method of bundling job postings into the weekly newsletter, meaning:
√ Faster delivery
√ More timely opportunities
√ Better visibility to act quickly
Why This Matters
This change allows PMINEO to:
- Share job openings as soon as they are available
- Avoid sending irrelevant messages to members who are not currently job seeking
- Help interested members advance their careers more quickly
Additionally, this enhanced capability strengthens our outreach to Northeast Ohio’s corporate community, allowing us to connect employers with qualified project management professionals more effectively.
Stay in Control
You can update this setting at any time:
- Opt in when you’re actively looking
- Opt out when you’re no longer interested
