Open Letter to PMINEO Chapter Members Regarding COVID-19

Chapter News

March 13, 2020

COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, has the world on edge.  Organizations across the US are restricting business travel, encouraging work from home, and promoting vigilant hygiene practices – to reduce risk and discourage the virus from spreading.

Here in Northeast Ohio, schools are closing, sporting events are played to empty arenas, and major events are being cancelled.   At PMINEO, we are encouraging a pragmatic, not panicked, response.  Follow the guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Coronavirus CDC

We must be responsible to our members, their families, and other guests.  As such, our March Chapter meeting will be a virtual event, still on the evening of Wed, March 18.  Please utilize Zoom or Facebook Live to join the conversation – and learn about the new PMBOK and PMP Certification exam.  Visit https://pmineo.org/component/eventbooking/3-18-20-chapter-meeting to find information for using our virtual technologies.

Chapter Leadership will evaluate all future events and meetings based on the current situation and public health guidelines.  Please check our website, follow us on social media, and the Monday Pulse for them most up-to-date information regarding that status of our events.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Respectfully,

Todd R Jones
