Description

The PMI Northeast Ohio Chapter is sponsoring a US$2,000 scholarship annually. The scholarship is open to all students who meet the criteria outlined below. 

Application and Notification 

Applications from interested candidates must be received by PMIEF no later than May 1, 2017. Notification to awardees will be sent via email to each applicant in August 2017. Candidates who have not received the award will also be notified via email. Upon award, scholarship funds will be distributed directly to the student. 

Winner Announcement

The winner of the scholarship will participate in an award presentation at a chapter meeting in Fall of 2017. The specific date and time of the chapter meeting will be determined.   

Criteria 

In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or applying to an accredited college or university in an undergraduate program in a related field benefiting from project management, with the following order of priority: 

·         Any undergraduate student who is a chapter member or an immediate family member of a member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter. 

·         Any undergraduate student residing in the Northeast Ohio Area, USA, who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program in the state of Ohio. The Northeast Ohio Area is defined as the following counties: Ashland, Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Holmes, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, and Wayne. 

·         Any undergraduate student residing in the Northeast Ohio Area, USA, who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere in the USA.
