PMINEO members enjoyed a terrific program at the Cleveland Museum of Art!

Chapter News

Manet3.jpegAfter networking, Chapter members heard from CMA staff that curated the Cleveland installation of the Manet & Morisot exhibit, the first major exhibition dedicated to the artistic exchange between these two founding members of the French Impressionists movement.

The presentation covered some art history and appreciation along with a bit of behind-the-scenes information on how exhibitions of this magnitude come together. Members got to hear from the Exhibit Project Manager that has worked “the checklist” for years in preparing for the opening. It was a mix of the usual project management with checklists, timelines, status meetings, budget updates in the unusual environment of artistic masterpieces that offered a glimpse into a different application of project management that was both familiar and exotic.

Following the presentation, PMINEO members were emersed in the timeless work of these groundbreaking artists.

This is the latest example of how PMINEO delivers PDU opportunities to its members!
