President's Message
Wow... what a roller coaster ride Q2 has been!! Despite COVID-19, our PMINEO has continued to offer outstanding programming and networking opportunities, posted articles and links to Resources for Working Virtually, and hosted a Fundraiser to support the Greater Cleveland Coronavirus Response effort. And all of this virtually!
I would like to express the Board's gratitude to our dedicated volunteers who have maintained excellence in leading the Chapter. Your service is very much appreciated. And Thanks to you, our members, for staying engaged and supporting our virtual events!
On a more personal note, many of us are experiencing pain for family, loved ones, or friends who have been affected by the virus. We are navigating a 'new normal' in our families (schooling children at home, sharing a makeshift office with a spouse). We are celebrating milestones in new ways (virtual graduations and birthday parties). We are encouraging those on the front-lines fighting the virus (impromptu cheering for hospital heroes and first responders). Regardless of our individual situations, we are all connected in one way or another... we are truly #InThisTogether.
Please take advantage of our website, social media, and virtual events to stay connected and grow personally through this time.
More recently, our nation has been torn apart with racial unrest. Please take a few minutes to read a short letter from PMI President & CEO, Sunil Prashara, addressing inequality:
As always, feel free to reach out to me if you have questions or suggestions about our Chapter.
Respectfully,
Todd R Jones
President, PMINEO
