What is a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.)?
According to PMI, Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s) are organizations that PMI has approved to offer training in project management and issue professional development units (PDUs) to meet the continuing education requirements needed by PMI credential holders. To earn the R.E.P. designation, a provider must meet or exceed rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness as defined by PMI.
The PMI R.E.P. designation is the highest mark of excellence in project management training. R.E.P.s are organizations approved by PMI to offer project management training. R.E.P.s must meet or exceed PMI’s rigorous quality standards and requirements.
Because they are aligned with PMI, R.E.P.s are preferred by:
- Organizations seeking to manage their talent and develop effective project teams
- Practitioners seeking certification preparation and continuing education
Training can take place face-to-face, in an interactive group setting, or online, through interactive instructor-led courses, or on demand.
