June Message from Ramya Ramadurai, PMINEO President
Hello Summer!
I hope everyone is having a great summer, traveling and spending time with their families and loved ones. I have some family visiting this summer, along with a few trips planned.
We had an incredibly successful Professional Development Day, probably the largest since the beginning of the pandemic, with over 80 registered! Kudos to all the volunteers who helped execute this large-scale event to serve our professional community.
Also, congratulations to the 2023 Winners of the PMINEO Project Management Excellence Awards – Christopher Cesta, Lindsay Bishop and Abigail Radcliffe. Your achievements continue to inspire us.
Our key focus areas are:
- Rebuilding the PMINEO brand
- We have been making many changes to our website to improve its usability and consistency with our brand.
- Engaging young professionals
- We are piloting a mentorship program for any member who wishes to be mentored by our list of mentors. If you are interested in being part of this program, please contact mentoring@pmineo.org.
- Building community
- Look for upcoming events that help us advance social causes by serving with local non-profits to help in any way we can.
