March Message from Ramya Ramadurai, PMINEO President
March, coming in like a mid-sized lion cub? While I love this mild weather in the end of the winter, I am looking forward to the warmer months ahead.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ramya Ramadurai, a seasoned project manager with over 16 years of PM and technology experience. I work at Rockwell Automation as a Professional Services Manager. I am a PMP, Scrum Master, and 6-sigma Green Belt. I am excited to be stepping into the role of the President for the PMINEO Chapter starting January 2024, taking over from Todd Jones (and having big shoes to fill!). I have been a chapter member and volunteer since 2018 and have been on the Governance Board since 2022. I am excited to continue our mission of promoting project management as a recognized discipline by creating an environment that fosters professional development through continued learning, networking, and support of project managers.

In our meeting, we discussed our three focus areas to increase depth, breadth and persistence of the PMINEO message across our membership and beyond in the Northeast Ohio area. Our key focus areas are:
- Rebuilding the PMINEO brand
- Engaging young professionals
- Building community
We are calling on you to help us advance these initiatives, including helping re-do our website, mentoring young or new-to-the-profession project managers, as well as building community & social good events for us to come together.
