Volunteer Opportunities

We are always seeking volunteers to impact the overall member experience. It takes hard work to create the magic at each Chapter event, and like the wizard behind the curtain, you too can be a part of that magic.

Visit the Volunteer page for information on how to become involved.

Certifications

PMI offers a certification for all career levels. Each PMI professional designation provides varying educational and practical experience requirements that must be accepted by PMI before the candidate can sit for a certification exam. Candidates must pass the exam before certification can be granted. See Get Certified to identify the right certification for you.

Training

Training is essential to advancing a Project Management career. Whether you want to boost leadership skills, enhance career capabilities, or just develop professionally, PMINEO offers in-person and online opportunities to accomplish your goals. Find out more about local training resources here.

Networking

Networking is key to enriching PMINEO membership value. Upcoming in-person events will enable you to meet the Chapter’s board of directors and members.

Get to Know PMINEO

These events, held monthly the first Tuesday, provide an opportunity to learn more about the chapter and how you can get involved. More information here.

PMINEO Office Hours

If you need support or have questions, PMINEO Office Hours, the third Thursday of each month, help you connect with a Chapter leader. Find support here.

Mentoring

If mentorship is something you're seeking, PMINEO offers a program designed to develop potential future leaders and provide those more experienced an opportunity to give back by nurturing a fellow professional. Learn more.

Military Outreach

Veterans who transition from active duty to civilian life are often overlooked as project managers and PMINEO wants to help fill that void. Turn military experience into project management experience by earning a certification and building a great career. For more about Military Outreach, visit here.

Military members and veterans, don’t forget about From Mission to Execution: PMINEO + Sub Zero Mission Tour & Project Management Insights October 2nd. It’s FREE for military veterans to attend!

Leadership Opportunities

Every time you support your PMINEO Chapter, serve on a committee, learn a new skill, and give back to the profession by sharing your experience and knowledge with others, you are making a difference. When thinking about your future professional goals, have you considered a Chapter leadership position? To become more involved, contact volunteering@pmineo.org.
