We are always seeking member volunteers to assist with impacting the overall member experience at PMINEO! It takes a lot of hard work to create the magic at each event and like the wizard behind the curtain, you can be a part of that magic.

Interact regularly with event sponsors

This team member will be responsible for the development and management of event sponsorship. They will help build our sponsor network and will be the primary point of contact for all event sponsors.

Increase local student and faculty awareness and interest in project management

The objective of Student Leadership Team Volunteer is to increase local student and faculty awareness and interest in project management, including chapter membership benefits and careers. Our outreach activities can be personalized to any student demographics however, are primarily focused on college students. Volunteers must be available after normal business hours (after 5 PM EST) to present at Universities on at least 2 evenings. Most classes are conducted in the evenings.

Chapter programming responsibilities

Member Services is charged with programming responsibilities. Programs, Event Management, Professional Development, and Recession Proof Your Career Teams are all part of Member Services. Member Services will also be responsible for maintaining and “growing” our PDU program, and ensuring that the services offered to our members match their needs

Description or summary (committee purpose)

Are you passionate about social media and looking for a volunteer opportunity? If so, PMI’s Northeast Ohio Chapter could use your skills. We are looking for someone to create and share relevant content written by others on our social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter (X) and LinkedIn with the goals of maintaining consistent communication, building brand awareness, and developing relationships within the Northeast Ohio Project Management community. Create and share relevant content on PMINEO’s social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter (X) and LinkedIn to maintain consistent communication, build brand awareness and develop relationships within the Northeast Ohio Project Management community. Position reports to the VP of Marketing.
