Kerzner Award for Project Excellence Emerging Professional of the Year Each year, the PMINEO Chapter rewards Northeast Ohio professionals for outstanding achievements in project management. We recognize the hard work and ongoing commitment shown by project management professionals within their industries and communities. We honor our fellow professionals with the recognition that they deserve and encourage our project management community to apply. Applications are now open for 2024 project consideration for Project of the Year, Kerzner Award for Project Excellence and Emerging Professional of the Year. Kerzner Award for Project Excellence
Nominated projects may be of any type and from any industry. The projects should be expertly managed to deliver on-time, on-budget results and provide the learning and integration that organizations need. Nominees do not need to be a member of PMI or PMINEO to apply. The award nomination period begins January for the prior year, with the nomination period ending in April, and winner announcements following. |
Joe Anastasi Annual Volunteer of the Year Award
About the First Award Recipient, Joe Anastasi, PMP For more than 25 years, Joe Anastasi has actively served the Northeast Ohio PMI chapter in marketing, communications, programs, event organization, community and member outreach, as well as mentoring roles. It is a long list of accomplishments! He currently serves as Member Services Program Manager on the Operations Board. In his professional role, Joe manages a Project Management Office (PMO) for Progressive Insurance, capping off a career of leading multiple IT projects. Joe says that he appreciates the opportunity he has had to learn from many great leaders and to share his knowledge with young professionals. He also teaches project and innovation management at Cleveland State University and project management at Cuyahoga Community College. “Volunteers should continue to be passionate and proactive in their roles, he said. “They should seek opportunities to learn and grow and be willing to lend a helping hand.
