Website Delivers Enhanced Engagement Experience

When visiting the PMINEO website during the past year you may have noticed its new branded graphic look includes simplified navigation, updated information, added sections and call to action buttons that simplify your selection process.

The Marketing team* has worked behind the scenes to deliver these best practices from PMINEO websites across the globe – helping to enhance your communications and community engagement experience.

Refresh Update Highlights

  • Home Page landing page graphics feature a “mega menu” that showcases events, news and enhanced calls to action. The Chapter’s social media icons are more accessible in the page header to increase engagement.
  • Events key links include new meeting offerings such as Get to Know the PMI Chapter and Networking at Noon. Signing up for an event is an easy click away!
  • Professional Development features:
    • Certification details certifications and micro-credentials, what they are and how to obtain them;
    • Career Opportunities links to local job opportunities;
    • Training showcases options to earn professional development units as well as advance career enhancing education;
    • News tab is a repository for past Pulse issues, blogs and photo galleries; and
    • Students makes it easy to become involved, obtain training, including CAPM, and much more.

New/Enhanced Sections

  • Military Outreach features program goals, benefits and certification information;
  • PMINEO Annual Awards features the chapter’s Project of the Year, Kerzner Award for Project Excellence, Emerging Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

Behind the Scenes

And what you may not notice is that behind the scenes key features are building the Chapter’s brand awareness while facilitating accessibility. Behind the scenes, meta tags describe each page, helping to guide search engines to our website. Key words capitalize on what individuals type in to a search engine, helping drive traffic to our site. In addition, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) features make our website more accessible to all professionals.
