John Owen is the CEO of Barbecana Inc., a software company from Houston, Texas that produces Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Schedule Validation software. John joined Barbecana in 2014. Previous roles include Senior Director of Product Management at Deltek, VP of Development at Welcom, and Manager of Computerized Project Management at Worley Engineering. Before entering the world of Project Management, John worked for the UK Ministry of Defence on computer security systems and developed his first (and last!) proof of concept computer virus in 1981. John’s interests include Land Rovers, Smart Homes, and DIY Projects around the house.
