PMINEO Liberty Park Naturalist Hike
Join us off the beaten path - literally - for our next social event at Summit Metro Parks Liberty Park Nature Center in the Akron area! The Chapter will be embarking on a naturalist hike from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Come out to network with project managers who can offer advice and insight on advancing your careers while hiking through the conservation area of the ledges to see the rock formations in person guided by Interpretive Naturalist Joe Malmisur. Joe will provide a presentation about the geology of Liberty Park in the shelter (or Nature Center, depending on weather) prior to the hike.
Sandwiches, snacks, and refreshments will be served. The visit should last about 2-2.5 hours. Please be sure to wear hiking boots and bring bug spray! You will also be expected to sign a waiver before the hike.
