5/4/21 - Project Leadership: You Cannot Manage a Project to Success
Type of category: Events
Date: May 4th, 2021
Hour: 6:00PM to 7:30PM
# of PDUs: 0
You cannot manage a project to success; you must lead a project to success. Over the past 40 years, as project management tools and methodologies have evolved into a proscriptive “discipline,” we have become overly focused on project administration, training and certifying project managers in their ability to report on the easily quantifiable metrics of schedule and cost. Projects are not about things; projects are about people. This presentation describes the critical responsibilities of the project manager in leading the team through vision, motivation, communication, action, focus and tenacity, i.e., leadership. The key question is: how do you acquire/develop project leaders? Earn 1.5 PDU in Business and Strategic Management Register in advance for this webinar: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_aoD0ZdbYTuWXKTJZKS5_iA After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
