International Project Management Day - Cultural Configuration and the Hidden Drivers of Change

Most transformation initiatives fail not because the strategy is flawed, but because stakeholder perception is misread.

Leaders often attribute resistance to poor communication, lack of alignment, or insufficient sponsorship. Yet beneath these explanations lies a deeper and less visible driver: cultural configuration.

Culture is not limited to national background. It is layered. Professional culture, organizational culture, generational influences, risk tolerance, governance traditions, and leadership imprint all interact to shape how individuals perceive change.

In this executive-focused, interactive session, participants will explore a multi-layered model of cultural configuration and examine how it shapes stakeholder reaction during transformation. Through guided introspection and structured dialogue, leaders will surface their own cultural configuration and better understand the invisible filters influencing decision-making, resistance, and engagement.

This session offers a sharper lens for leading transformation across functions, geographies, and executive levels.
