Speaker #1: Matt LoPiccolo

Matt LoPiccolo is an experienced executive with an established track record as a trusted coach and advisor who is an empathetic leader and developer of talent.  Matt is a highly effective communicator and business partner with a style based on trust, engagement, clarity and results.  Matt creates long term sustainable business change through transforming culture and an ability to simplify complexity. Presentation Overview – 1.5 Business Acumen PDU:

  • Project Leadership Adaptability. With four decades of experience as both a project manager and an executive, Matt has a unique perspective on the emerging overlap of project management and leadership competencies. All great leaders demonstrate the ability to balance their core values and business needs with the needs of their team and the situation. As the world and projects become more complex, project managers require a focus on awareness and adaptability skills.  Successful project leaders understand this and can navigate the Roeder Leadership Adaptability Triangle™, which will be explored during this presentation.

Evening Speaker: Tres Roeder

Tres Roeder founded Roeder Consulting in 2011. A former consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, Tres has worked with more than forty organizations including eight Fortune 500 companies and three FTSE 100 firms. This presentation, based on Tres Roeder's Amazon best-selling book, has been heard by over 100 groups of all sizes from Washington State to Boston, from Panama to Luxembourg. Tres colorfully outlines the six disciplines individuals need to lead change. Humorous, engaging, and based on a comprehensive multi-year study, this program covers: 1) how an individual can improve emotional intelligence, 2) how a team can better understand the interpersonal aspects of the workplace, and 3) how an organization can improve project performance through stronger communications and empathy.
